August 22nd 2021 Announcements

• Beginning September 5th we will be offering Children's Ministry every Sunday! For the summer, it is still on an every other Sunday basis. The final summer Sunday for Children's Ministry is August 22nd.

• A Men's Bible Study is held on Thursdays at 6:00am in the Worship Center. "Discovering the Bible" by Gordon Addington is being used. Contact Bill H or Rollie S with any questions.

• Two Women's Bible Studies will begin the week of September 12th. Both will be 10 sessions of "God of Creation - A Study of Genesis 1-11" by Jen Wilkin. A morning group will meet Thursdays 8:30-10:15 in the Worship Center. An evening group will be meeting Wednesdays 7:00 - 8:30 in the home of Kelli F. Books will cost $16 with checks to be made out to HEFC. Please sign up by September 3rd via text or email to Patti K.

• There will be a Small Group Sunday on Sunday, September 12th to highlight all of our small groups. Anyone interested in leading or hosting a small group can contact Pastor Mike.

• A HEFC directory update has been printed and can be found in your mail folder in the foyer of the Worship Center!

• Interested in becoming a member of HEFC? Membership classes will be held September 26th and October 3rd. These two classes cover different topics and are each approximately 1 1/2 hours. If you would like to attend, please contact the office.

August 15th 2021 Announcements

August 8th 2021 Announcements

• We are currently offering Children's Ministry on an every other Sunday basis. Our next Sundays for Children's Ministry will be August 22nd and September 5th.

• Please consider a contribution to the Common Cup annual School Supply Drive. To meet our church goal we still need: 3 backpacks, 56 black pens and 340 red pens. Donations can be placed in the marked container in the Worship Center foyer. The deadline has been extended to August 15th.

July 25th 2021 Announcements

• Join us for another Trail Night followed by a Campfire on Friday, July 30th. Enjoy the use of the Luce Line Trail from 6:30-7:15 and an Outdoor Nature Scavenger Hunt at 7:15. Bring your own chair for a campfire with hotdogs and S'mores afterward! Invite a friend!

• Common Cup is currently doing their annual School Supply Drive. Our church has been asked to donate 20 backpacks, 500 blue pens, 500 black pens and 500 red pens. Donations can be placed in the marked container in the Worship Center foyer until August 6th.

July 11th Announcements

• A snack rotation for fellowship time will be starting next week! Remember to keep it simple...store bought is okay! A list is posted in the Worship Center. If you would like to be added or prefer not to be on the list, please let the office know. • Join us for Our Own "Great MN Get-Together" on Sunday, July 11th after the worship service! Our carnival will include games for kids, face painting and fun food for all! Walking Taco, Snow Cones, Food on a Stick, Drink Mobile!!! Invite your friends!

• We are currently offering Children's Ministry on an every other Sunday basis. Our next Sundays for Children's Ministry will be July 11th and 25th.

• If you are a Children's Ministry Parent/Guardian please complete a 2021 Child Registration Form. If you are a past or present CM volunteer, please complete a Fall 2021 Volunteer Survey. Check your email for the form or pick up a printed copy in the Worship Center or Children's Ministry Room. Please return them to Missy or Elyse by Sunday July11th so we can proceed with fall plans. • Our sympathy goes to the family of Eunice Anglin. The funeral service for Eunice Anglin will be Tuesday July 6 at 2 pm, at the Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson. Visitation begins at 12:30. Eunice was one of the early members of our HEFC congregation.

• An Adult & Teen Outdoor Game Night will be held on Friday, June 25th starting at 5:00. Stop at your favorite take out, bring a snack or pack a picnic meal. Bring your own chairs.

• Continue praying for the Appalachian mission team serving the people in Kentucky this week.

• We will have a brief Congregational Meeting after the worship service on June 27th to vote on 5 new prospective members recommended by the elders.
