May 25th 2025 Announcements

• Every May HEFC collects diapers for the Common Cup Diaper Distribution.  Size 3 and larger are especially needed.  Please place donations in the bin in the Worship Center.  Thanks for your help!

• The Missions and Outreach Team will have a planning meeting on Sunday, June 1st after the worship service.  Anyone interested in helping plan for the upcoming year is welcome to join them - no commitment required.  Reach out to Ann B with any questions.

• The Youth Group will end the school year with a Youth/Family Cookout on Wednesday, June 4th.  They are inviting parents and siblings to join the youth for a cookout, bonfire and games!  Parents please RSVP to Debbie J by May 28th with how many family members will be able to attend.  When she has the numbers she will email a food sign-up sheet to families.  Isaac & Debbie will provide hamburgers and brats.  Feel free to bring lawn chairs and yard games.  If the weather is bad, games will be played indoors.

• 25 Year Anniversary Celebration of Hutch E Free!
  The celebration continues as we prepare to go out and serve our community!  Sign up with the online link or clipboard in the Worship Center if you can help with the Habitat for Humanity Service Event on Saturday May 17th. Volunteers of all skills sets and levels, 18 years or older are welcome for a half day or all day.  Lunch will be provided.  We are looking forward to serving along side of you!

• Please note a change in office hours for this week.  Carrie will be working on Thursday 5/15 instead of Friday 5/16.  Please have any church announcements submitted by midnight on Wednesday.

  As we celebrate TODAY, we will enjoy a Fellowship Meal together after the morning service! 
  Plan for a full day of celebrating and connecting with each other TODAY!  Check out our Historical Display, watch the Slide Show, participate in the Afternoon Activities, Sign up for the Habitat for Humanity Service Event (on May 17th), Stay for the Tree Dedication in memory of Pastor Lanny Penwell and close the day with our Program including testimonies, songs and the Ma Navu.

• 10 volunteers are needed to help with the HAY lunch from 10:00am - 1:00pm on Thursday, May1. Contact Dede H if you can help by making sandwiches, setting up the serving area and serving food to the high school students.

• Join the Elders for our Monthly Prayer Time TODAY after the worship service in the Youth Room.  We will pray for our church, our community, and our country on the 3rd Sunday of each month.  This month's Prayer Time is moved to the 2nd Sunday due to Easter.

• Help us prepare for our Easter Egg Outreach!

• Help by DONATING individually wrapped CANDY.  Bring to church TODAY.

• Help FILL the EGGS at the Packing Event TODAY after the service. 

• Help HIDE the EGGS on Saturday morning the 19th, around 9am.  Other volunteers are needed that morning.  Please use the sign up sheet or contact Nicole G if you can help!

• Join us to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus at our Good Friday Service on April 18th at 7:00pm.  No childcare, but Easter focused activity bags will be available.

• Our Easter Egg Hunt outreach is coming up on Saturday, April 19th from 10:00-11:30!  Bring your kiddos and invite their friends and neighbors for Free Egg Hunts, Snacks, Drinks, Crafts and Fun!  Egg hunts will be staggered by age group.

• Join us to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ at our Easter Sunday Service on April 20th at 10:00am!

• The church office will be closed on Tuesday, April 8 as Pastor Mike will be at the North Central District conference.

• Thank you to everyone who has saved card boxes for the 3rd and 4th grade class.  We have met our goal of having a box for each book of the Old Testament and the New Testament. That makes 66 boxes!!  We are now working on memorizing the books of the New Testament.  Thanks again for helping with this project.
