The Ministry Mapping Survey is one way we will seek to discover where we are – which aspects of ministry are going well and where we need to adjust. But we need everyone to participate. If you are a member or regular attender, please invest a little time and effort in our church by completing the survey online. Paper copies are also available.
A brief Special Congregational Meeting will be held on August 3rd after the service to vote on new members.
Could you spare an hour of your time if you knew it was going to help feed starving children? Or how about a few dollars? Or maybe both? You'll have an opportunity to do just that on August 10, immediately after the service, until approximately 1:30 PM! Food for Kidz will be coming to our church with all the supplies needed to package nutritious meals for children in Haiti, Honduras, Afghanistan, and/or Sierra Leone, or perhaps some US locations that have recently been impacted by natural disasters. We will need approximately 20 volunteers (there is a sign-sheet in the Worship Center). HEFC will need to cover the cost of the food we package, which we anticipate will be around $1,000. If you'd like to contribute towards this cost, you may do so by putting it in the offering box (be sure to write "Food for Kidz" in the memo line of your check or on the envelope).
Common Cup Ministry Back to School Supply Drive donations will be accepted until August 10th. HEFC has been assigned: 15 backpacks, 20 small flash drives (16GB), 200 red pens, 50 crayons (24 count) and #2 pencils (Ticonderoga preferred).
