Survey results are in! The elders are preparing a summary from our Ministry Mapping Survey to share with the congregation, and would like to get the conversation started. We will host an informational session for those interested after service on Sunday, November 9th, in the worship center. We will also share results from the survey as part of our scheduled congregational meeting on November 23.
Please contact the church office or Pastor Mike if you have already attended membership classes and are interested in pursuing HEFC Membership so Elder interviews can be arranged and completed by Nov 7th.
The MO team is planning another Minneapolis Outreach. All ages are welcome to help pack lunches Friday, November 7th 6:00-9:00pm in the Gathering Room. Saturday, November 8th an adult carpool will meet at the church at 11:00am to distribute the lunches and return about 3pm. Donations are welcome and should be brought to the green church drop box in the Gathering Room by Thursday the 6th:
Daily essentials like tooth brushes, paste, wipes etc.
Granola bars, beef jerky, chips, bread, cookies, water.
New or gently used: Hats, gloves, blankets, socks, sweaters or jackets.
(Ham, turkey or cheese not needed as we have more than enough)
Monetary gifts can be placed in the offering box with Missions & Outreach on the memo line (or envelope). Direct questions to Ann B or Memo.
Your participation in Operation Christmas Child will bless many children. Remember to PRAY for the recipient(s) of the boxes!
Samaritan's Purse requests a $10 donation for each box. Why?
-The filled boxes are sent by ship to many locations.
-Each child receives a Greatest Gift booklet in their language. In 2025, the booklets are available in 118 languages.
-The weight of all the boxes must be paid.
-All boxes must go through Customs.
-Each child receives a New Testament in their language after graduating from the follow-up classes.
