Each class is about 1.5 hours. Contact Pastor Mike or the church office if you are interested in attending so food and materials can be prepared.
Join the Elders for our Monthly Prayer Time on Sunday, September 20th after the worship service in the Youth Room. We will pray for our church, our community, and our country on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
Best Christmas Ever: On September 1, we kick off our biggest nomination push of the year and we want you to be part of it. This year, Best Christmas Ever is setting out to surprise 500 families across the country who have had an incredibly tough year. Maybe you know one, a neighbor, friend, co-worker, student whose family could use a little extra Christmas magic this year. Nominate them and share the nomination with the people around you. Because one nomination can start something Big: BCE Captains, volunteers, and entire communities coming together to give a family Christmas they'll never forget. Best Christmas Ever
On October 25, HEFC will be partnering with Food For Kidz (https://www.foodforkidz.org/) to package nutritious meal packages that are a carefully formulated mixture of nutritionally sustainable ingredients that includes protein, rice, vegetables, and seasonings. Each package has a shelf life of three years in any environment. All they need of us are the HANDS to prepare the packages and that's where YOU can get involved! Volunteers preschool-age and up work together in an "assembly-line" style to prepare the packages for shipment. We will break after service to set up and so the volunteers can grab lunch, then plan to start at 12:30 and work until around 2:30 pm! We want to have approximately 25 volunteers that day to have 2 assembly lines! Look for the sign-up sheet on the west counter by the fellowship snacks to sign up to help, or contact Ann Broscoff (a_broscoff@swchs.org) to have your name added to the list!
