Additional Study: Read Genesis 15 (or 11-25 for the whole story). What did Abram believe that Paul is referring to in Romans 4?
What does the phrase “credited as righteousness mean”? How would you explain that to a friend?
What are the blessings received through God’s righteousness in Jesus Christ?
What is the importance of the timing of when Abraham was “credited” with righteousness? Why does Paul emphasize that this took place prior to circumcision?
